06.02.2026: The Final Stretch

Hello my dear Operators,

We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year with people whose company you actually enjoy. We definitely did and spent some quality time with our families while still working on the newest version of the game.

We’re getting very close to finishing the main gameplay sections, after which it’s mostly polishing, redesigning, and all that necessary game dev stuff. You know, like making sure a potato PC doesn’t burst into flames while playing our game.

Anyway, we’ve decided to make each night feel much more like a fresh experience, while still keeping the core gameplay loop intact. Those of you who played the demo might have already seen the dream gameplay, and oh boy, that’s a whole different can of worms. We absolutely love the dream sequences, especially what we have planned for them. If everything goes as planned, you’re in for some really cool stuff.

That said, even the main nights have their own differences so things don’t get boring. Some of you might have noticed that we’ve reduced the overall size of the game quite a bit. Originally, we planned to do five nights (yes, yes… at Freddy’s, hehe), but we decided to scale it back to three nights instead. This includes three dream sequences, plus everything that happens before, between, and after them.

One big reason for this decision is that the game has been in development for almost three years now. And thanks to our amazing development pipeline (this is sarcasm, by the way), we’ve sunk countless hours into it and may have bitten off a bit more than we could chew. With only one active developer and a few helpers who jump in from time to time, this is a pretty big task. Especially when the main developer hates his own code and remakes it, like, five times. I’m allowed to say that. That’s me.

Yeah, I know, it’s kind of weird talking in third person, but I really wanted to roast myself for my dumb decisions. Anyway, this is getting way too long.

TLDR:
Core gameplay is almost finished. Release is planned for July or August. And yes, I’m sometimes stupid.

Thanks so much for your continued support. And since we’ve been asked about this: yes, we do watch every gameplay video of our demo and usually leave a comment. So if you want to make a video, go for it. Even if it’s just criticism. We try to take in every opinion and improve wherever we can.

Until next time, take care.

02.09.2025: Final Demo V2.

Hello everybody.
We didn’t totally forget that we have a newsletter here. NO, we would N E V E R.

Anyway, let’s get into everything that happened over the last one and a half years. We’ve been working hard on reworking the game and overhauling all of the old systems. We now have much more advanced and modular systems in place, which makes development a lot easier for us.

On top of that, we revisited all of the old levels and did some major overhauls, including completely reworking the sleep section. It has to be said that this took quite a while, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped, whether it was with assets, music, or simply being there.

It’s been a tough ride, and it’s not over yet, but we’re closer than ever.

Sorry for the slightly shorter post this time, as we’re still working on the big stuff.
See you soon, that’s a promise!

22.03.2024: Upcoming Demo Release.

Welcome, everyone, to the second installment on our news page. I have some really good news to share today. After a long period of fixing bugs and addressing errors, the demo is finally set to release on 24.04.2024. Save that date! We believe we've ironed out enough issues to confidently release it. Since not much noteworthy has happened in the past few months, the news has been somewhat flat. However, on Discord, you'll find more information, even on the minor details we're working on. Everything is coming together quite nicely. I've also done some reworking of certain parts of the game that I wasn't entirely satisfied with, which also took its fair share of time. Additionally, I don't anticipate this demo version being the final update, as players have a knack for discovering bugs that even our playtesters couldn't find. I'll be more than happy to address each and every one of those pesky bugs to ensure the best possible experience for our player base. If you have any suggestions, feedback, or anything else you'd like to share, please consider joining our Discord server or emailing us at suggestions@stronggamingstudios.com. Anyway, I won't reveal too much more for now. Just mark your calendars and stay tuned for updates.

Until next time, take care.

09.12.2023: Update on Operator Observation

Welcome, everyone, to the first installment of our update section here on the Stronggaming Studios site. I hope you are all doing fine. We have some things to unpack today. Firstly, the second developer has ceased to work with me. He had too little time, and we both agreed it would be better if he could use his little free time for himself. Since I am the only "official employee" of my company because nobody else is getting paid and is doing this for free (including my Social Media and Support Managers), it was really easy to make this change. So now, I'm working alone again. Yay... -_- Anyway, back to the topic. The game is getting more and more of that juicy content. If I can continue working at this high pace, we might see the demo this Christmas, which would be AMAZING, or if something comes in the way, more like the start of January. Luckily, I can PROMISE you it will come out either in December or January. If something really bad occurs, I will tell you, but at the moment, it's getting good. I reworked many parts of my old code because it was not great. Fortunately, this led to more features being possible, like reporting multiple anomalies at a time without failing, and then assigning them one by one afterward. I also remade some maps because they looked ugly, and I want to bring out only at least decent-looking content for you. Anyway, all in all, the game is getting ready more and more. I'm so excited to share my hard work with you all. Stay tuned and stay cool.

Until next time, take care.
